Los determinantes de las exportaciones, la inversión extranjera directa y las remesas en ocho economías Latinoamericanas

Abstract

Este trabajo presenta un modelo multivariado para explicar la dinámica de tres fuentes de fondos de vital importancia para los países en vías de desarrollo, a saber: las remesas, la inversión extranjera directa (IED) y los ingresos provenientes de las exportaciones. El modelo fue estimado con datos de panel de ochos economías latinoamericanas: las seis que componen América Central y Colombia, y Venezuela. Los datos comprenden los años de1970 a 2013. La estimación arrojó resultados que sugieren que las tres variables forman un equilibrio de largo plazo, lo que pudiera indicar que comparten una estructura dinámica o una tendencia estocástica común.
