Die Agenda 2010 als Teil der rot-grünen Regierungspolitik

Abstract

Die Agenda 2010 stellte eine historische Zäsur in der deutschen Arbeitsmarkt- und Sozialpolitik dar. Sie war nicht von langer Hand geplant, hat aber eine durchaus längere Vorgeschichte. Gesellschaftspolitisch stark umstritten, traf sie auf einen breiten, zustimmenden Konsens unter den deutschen Wirtschaftsprofessoren (Zimmermann 2003). Um die Formulierung der Agenda 2010 und ihre politischen Implikationen zu verstehen, empfi ehlt es sich, sie in die Entwicklungslinie der gesamten Regierungspolitik der rot-grünen Bundesregierung (1998-2005) einzuordnen (Zohlnhöfer 2004, Egle, Ostheim und Zohlnhöfer 2003).
