Trajectories in geographical space out of communication in acquaintance space: An agent-based model of a textile industrial district

Abstract

type="main" xml:lang="es"> Este artículo presenta un modelo basado en agentes en un distrito textil italiano donde miles de pequeñas empresas se especializan en ciertas fases de la producción de tejidos. Se reconstruye la red de comunicación entre empresas con respecto a cómo organizan éstas las cadenas de producción. A su vez, las cadenas de producción resultan en un volumen de tránsito por carretera entre las zonas geográficas en las que se extiende el distrito. La reconstrucción del tráfico muestra un patrón observado, pero no previsto, por los responsables políticos.
