Comment comprendre la nouvelle structure d’entreprise l’impact des technologies de l’information sur les principes organisationnels (How to reveal the new enterprises structure the impact of information technologies on organisational principles)

Abstract

Quelles sont les conséquences de l’application des technologies de l’information et de la communication sur l’organisation et les individus ? Comment peut-on caractériser, voire vulgariser les nouveaux agencements des entreprises, suite à cette rupture technologique ? Quelles sont les clefs de la motivation des individus ? Quel type de management doit être adopté ? Dans le passé, certains gestionnaires et sociologues se sont penchés sur les difficultés et les limites de la modélisation des entreprises prises dans leur époque, notamment Douglas McGregor (Théorie X, Y) ou William Ouchi (Théorie Z). Max Weber a élaboré un outil, l’idéaltype (un modèle purement caricatural) afin de poser un jalon dans la complexité de la réalité et de mesurer l’écart ainsi creusé. Notre recherche s’attarde donc sur une application pratique de cette méthode pour « saisir » les conséquences de l’introduction des TIC dans les organisations. What are the consequences of Internet and ICT on the organisation’s principles and among individuals that are working inside the organisation? How to reveal the new structure, the new culture and procedure which have appeared? What are the clues to motivate and stimulate individuals in this new environment? What kind of management should be driven? In the past there were sociologists and others researchers who wanted to understand and identify the strong changes at the time of those economic, technological and social ruptures, especially Douglas McGregor (Theory X, Y) and William Ouchi (Theory Z). Max Weber has built a tool called idealtype (a purely caricatural pattern) in order to have a fixed point in the complexity of the reality and to estimate the gap between the constructed idealtype and the reality. Our research will try to put the idealtype theory into practice in order to “catch” the impact of ICT on organisational principles.
