Abstract

Dieses Grundlagenpapier bietet einen Überblick über das Thema (Ir-)Rationalität und dessen praktische Bedeutung. Das Dokument besteht aus drei Teilen. Zunächst wird das Konzept Rationalität philosophisch eingeordnet. Danach werden die praktischen Probleme, welche zu irrationalem Denken und Entscheiden führen, beschrieben. Zuletzt werden die Ansätze des Nudging, Debiasing und Red Teaming vorgestellt, mit denen Irrationalität in der Praxis angegangen werden kann.
