Changes in Children's Diets: 1989-1991 to 1994-1996

Abstract

Finds food energy intake increased, intakes of most vitamins and minerals did not change much, fat intake as a percentage of food energy decreased (although absolute intakes of fat did not decline), protein intake as a percentage of food energy decreased, carbohydrate and fiber intake increased, and cholesterol intake decreased.
