Abstract

O objetivo foi dar aos usuários da base de dados ?Ipeadata? uma percepção crítica das potencialidades e limitações desta fonte. As estimativas foram desagregadas por classes e ramos de atividades, distinguidos nas Contas Nacionais do Brasil, apesar da pesquisa ter sido restrita ao PIB total. Os autores Eustáquio J. Reis, Paulo Tafner, Márcia Pimentel, Rodrigo V. Serra, Luis Otávio Reiff, Kepler Magalhães e Mérida Medina apontam algumas possibilidades de extensões e melhorias das estimativas de PIB municipal.
