Aktuelle Entwicklungstendenzen und zukünftiger Personalbedarf im Öffentlichen Dienst

Abstract

Nach jahrelangem Stellenabbau im Öffentlichen Dienst zeigt die Statistik parallel zur Verbesserung der Haushaltslage in jüngerer Zeit eine Trendwende. Derzeit bestehen jedoch noch erhebliche personelle Mehrbedarfe, die in den kommenden Jahren gedeckt werden müssen. Insgesamt fehlen der Studie zufolge derzeit mindestens 110.000 Vollzeitstellen. Besonders ausgeprägt ist die Lücke bei der Kinderbetreuung und in den Finanzverwaltungen, aber auch bei der Polizei und im Schulbereich besteht ein deutlicher Mehrbedarf. Mittelfristig sind dafür Mehrausgaben in Höhe von jährlich 6 Mrd. Euro zu veranschlagen.
