Abstract

Working paper presenting findings of an Experiment on econometric modelling of the long term employment impact of disarmament - examines consequences for regional level economic growth and economic structure, world- wide employment creation, and income and consumption in developing countries; advocates shift in resource allocation from public expenditure on arms in developed countries to economic development in developing countries. Bibliography, graph, statistical tables.
