Policiamiento en puntos calientes en cuatro ciudades de Argentina: evaluación de impacto y proceso

Abstract

En 2017, un programa de PPC fue implementado en cuatro ciudades de la República Argentina: La Plata, Morón, Santa Fe y Tres de Febrero. Cada intervención fue diseñada siguiendo la misma metodología e implementada en forma simultánea de manera de poder comparar los resultados entre las ciudades. En términos generales, el programa generó una disminución significativa del 14% en los robos y hurtos. Los resultados difieren entre las ciudades, siendo La Plata la que experimentó las mayores disminuciones, incluyendo una reducción significativa del 31% en los robos. No se observó desplazamiento a delitos de asalto o sustracción de automotores. Las diferencias de impacto entre ciudades muy probablemente se asocian con diferencias en la implementación de cada intervención.
