Abstract

Ce papier documente la construction de la Matrice de Comptabilité Sociale (MCS) du Sénégal pour l'année 2006 en décrivant la structure générale, les étapes de construction ainsi que les différentes sources de données utilisées. En outre, il présente les techniques d'équilibrage utilisées à savoir les méthodes RAS et de l'entropie croisée. La MCS comporte ainsi 31 comptes d'activités de production, 31 comptes de biens et services, 2 facteurs de production le capital et le travail, 1 ménage représentatif, 1 firme, l'État, un compte d'accumulation de capital et enfin le Reste du monde. Les comptes d'activités de production sont repris tels qu'ils sont décrits dans la comptabilité nationale sénégalaise. Seuls les comptes d'activités de services ont été agrégés en services marchand et non marchand. Enfin, le papier décrit d'abord l'économie sénégalaise à partir de la matrice calculée avant de la comparer à la MCS du Sénégal construite pour l'année 1996.
