Abstract

L'article analyse la politique de la concurrence dans le secteur agro-alimentaire en Europe. La réglementation européenne est tout d'abord exposée. Pour le segment des intrants, les agriculteurs, les industries alimentaires et la grande distribution, les principales décisions de concurrence sont présentées. Les agriculteurs sont les acteurs les plus fragiles de la filière face à la forte concentration dans les industries en amont et en aval. Le concept de pouvoir d'achat des firmes pourrait être développé par les autorités de la concurrence afin d'équilibrer les gains économiques dans la filière.
