Le partage de la valeur ajoutée en France

L'évolution du partage de la valeur ajoutée a connu en France des évolutions très contrastées. Après une période de relative stabilité avant le premier choc pétrolier, la part des salaires a fortement crû jusqu'au début des années 1980. Elle a ensuite été réduite dans un contexte de politiques économiques visant à rétablir la part des profits et au cours des années 1990, elle a été assez stable, à un niveau historique bas. La baisse de 6,6 points de la part des salaires dans la valeur ajoutée de 1981 à 2000 a pour contrepartie par l'augmentation de l'imposition (2,8 points) et du revenu disponible des entreprises de 3,8 points. Ce surplus de revenu, ainsi que la réduction de l'effort d'investissement, ont été consacrés à la réduction de la dette des entreprises au cours des années 1990. Quelques fables d'évolution du partage de la valeur ajoutée sont analysées afin d'illustrer les mécanismes macroéconomiques à l'oeuvre.
