Política industrial: única vía para salir del subdesarrollo

Abstract

Este trabajo tiene como propósito investigar lo que hoy en día se entiende por política industrial. Entender lo que hoy en día se conoce como política industrial es interesante, no solo desde el punto de vista académico sino fundamentalmente para saber lo que hay que hacer para lograr el éxito y sacar a un país del subdesarrollo. Los países del este de Asia, comenzando con Japón, los tigres asiáticos y recientemente China han logrado alcanzar el desarrollo en un tiempo record que no tiene paralelo en la historia de la humanidad. Por tal motivo estudiar el esquema general de las políticas instrumentadas en esos países resulta de gran utilidad para países como México. Este trabajo describe de manera sintética los principales elementos a considerar en una política industrial, en aras de difundir y convencer a la sociedad y a la clase política de las bondades de dicha política para alcanzar el desarrollo.
