Una medición del valor agregado generado por las exportaciones colombianas

Abstract

Las cadenas globales de valor se han convertido en una de las características más sobresalientes de la actual etapa del proceso de globalización. En este contexto, conocer el origen de un producto es una tarea cada vez más compleja, debido a las interrelaciones productivas de los países. Utilizando un análisis basado en Matrices de Insumo-Producto y datos de comercio internacional, este artículo hace una caracterización de las exportaciones colombianas de acuerdo al valor agregado doméstico generado por ellas, como forma de aproximación a la participación del país en cadenas globales de valor. Los resultados indican que dicha participación es limitada.
