A Case Study of Federal Farm Commodity Programs and Sustainable Production Systems

Abstract

Federal fann commodity programs have been considered to be less beneficial for sustainable than conventional production systems. This research analyzed the impacts of changes in the 1990 Fann Bill on this issue. These changes increase the benefits of farm commodity program participation for sustainable farmers.
