Desigualdad de Aprendizajes en América Latina Un análisis con datos de PISA 2022

Abstract

En los últimos años se ha producido una fuerte expansión en la matrícula de la escuela media en numerosos países de América Latina lo cual constituyó un gran avance, no obstante, quedan grandes desafíos aún. Nuestro trabajo propone analizar las desigualdades que se observan en el derecho a la educación de los jóvenes en América Latina en lo que se refiere a la desigualdad de aprendizajes a los 15 años. En particular, mediante la utilización de los resultados de la prueba PISA 2022 se investigará para Argentina, Brasil, Chile, Colombia, México, Perú y Uruguay la desigualdad de aprendizajes tanto entre mujeres y varones, como entre los estudiantes más vulnerables y los menos vulnerables. Se utilizará para esto un indicador elaborado por las autoras que analiza la disparidad que se encuentra entre la proporción de estudiantes que alcanza el nivel de aprendizajes mínimos en lengua y matemática entre los estudiantes más vulnerables y la proporción que alcanza este mismo nivel de aprendizaje entre los estudiantes menos vulnerables, tanto para los varones como para las mujeres. También se calculará el indicador corregido por la proporción de alumnos que asisten a la escuela en cada uno de los países por quintil de ingreso familiar.
