Die Bedeutung von schnell wachsenden Unternehmen in Österreich

Abstract

Wachstumsunternehmen sind wichtige Träger der Dynamik einer Volkswirtschaft. Die Analyse von Bedeutung und empirischen Charakteristika schnell wachsender Unternehmen in Österreich zeigt, dass ihre Zahl relativ gering, ihre Bedeutung für die Arbeitsplatzschaffung aber groß ist. Viele schnell wachsende Unternehmen sind jung und klein, allerdings gibt es auch eine wichtige Gruppe von großen und alten Unternehmen mit dynamischem Wachstum. Schnelles Wachstum ist über die Lebensdauer der Unternehmen nicht persistent.
