Abstract

[fre] Le comportement des salariés joue un rôle déterminant dans les processus de restructuration et de privatisation en Europe centrale. Cet article en propose une formalisation inspirée de la littérature sur les syndicats et analyse les modal/tés d'ajustement de l'emploi et des salaires dans diverses configurations de contrôle et de propriété des firmes. Dans ce cadre, la prise en compte de la mission sociale du gouvernement permet de caractériser la position de faiblesse de l'État proprié­taire et les limites aux opérations de commercialisation des entreprises d'État. Enfin, on étudie différents mécanismes tendant à réduire l'hostilité des employés à l'égard de la privatisation. [eng] The behaviour of workers is essential to the restructuring and the privatization of state-owned enterprises in Central Europe. The model proposed here is adap­ted from the literature on bargaining with trade unions. It identifies conditions under which employment and wages are adjusted, depending on the ownership and control situation. The weakness of the state position and the limits on the cor-poratization operations are stressed, taking into account the pressure of social expenditures. Finally, different mechanisms, likely to alleviate the employees hos­tility regarding privatization, are analyzed.
