Mangalicatermelői preferenciák és kockázatvállalási hajlandóság az afrikai sertéspestis árnyékában
[Mangalica producer preferences and risk willingness in the shadow of African swine fever]

Abstract

A világszerte megjelenő afrikai sertéspestis komoly veszélyt jelent a hazai sertéstermelők számára is. Tekintve, hogy a rendkívüli jelentőségű, tradicionális fajta mangalica sertés is kitett a betegségnek, a megfelelő védekezés kiemelt jelentőségű Magyarországon is. Kutatásunk célja, hogy megvizsgáljuk a hazai mangalicatermelők telepekre vonatkozó preferenciáit e betegség fenyegetettségének árnyékában. Ehhez diszkrét választási kísérletet alkalmaztunk, amelyet feltételes logit specifikációval - aggregáltan, majd a kis és nagy telepek válaszadóit külön-külön - modelleztünk. Eredményeink szerint a hosszabb alomtárolási idő, a külső személyek ritkább látogatása, a biztonságosabb kerítés, valamint a betegség kockázatának csökkenése növeli a mangalicatermelők telepekre vonatkozó hasznosságérzetét a betegséggel szembeni biztonság szempontjából. Továbbá a kistermelők a legmagasabb mértékű kockázatot abban az esetben vállalnák, ha telepükön soha nem lenne látogató, míg a nagytermelők akkor, ha telepük kettős kerítéssel rendelkezne.* Journal of Economic Literature (JEL) kód: C35, D22, D81, Q12, Q16.
