Abstract

In "Laudato Sii" Papa Francesco afferma con grande forza che il lavoro digni-toso ? quello "libero, creativo, partecipativo e solidale". Il presente saggio mostra quali caratteristiche deve assumere il lavoro e quali modalit? organizzative sono pi? adatte alla sua promozione e valorizzazione nella prospettiva indicata dal Pontefice. In particolare, si individua nello smart working un modello in grado di favorire ed esaltare l?ingaggio cognitivo del lavoratore: fiducia, libert?, responsabi-lit? e autonomia sono gli aspetti caratterizzanti del lavoro agile. Tale modello per-mette anche una migliore conciliazione dei tempi di vita e di cura della famiglia, una distribuzione pi? equilibrata dei carichi familiari e una maggiore partecipazio-ne delle donne al mercato del lavoro e alla vita civile e democratica. Il sindacato pu? essere un protagonista nel passaggio a forme organizzative in grado di valorizzare la centralit? della persona: i capisaldi di una strategia orientata in questo senso sono la contrattazione territoriale e la formazione dei lavoratori.
