Abstract

Supply chain finance serves as a pivotal engine for enhancing corporate financing efficiency. We investigates the impact and mechanisms of supply chain finance on corporate financing efficiency through both theoretical and empirical approaches, using a sample of Chinese A-share listed companies from 2013 to 2023. The findings demonstrate that supply chain finance significantly improves corporate financing efficiency, a conclusion that remains valid after robustness testing. The enhancement primarily occurs through increased corporate transparency, with particularly notable effects observed in state-owned enterprises and companies located in eastern China.
