Abstract

This study investigates the interaction between urban logistics and integrated logistics parks (ILPs) by developing a coordinated optimization framework that integrates logistics operations and energy dispatch. To promote the green and low-carbon transformation of ILPs, the replacement of conventional internal combustion engine vehicles (ICEV) with electric logistics vehicles (ELVs), combined with the deployment of renewable energy and energy storage systems (ESS), is essential for achieving energy savings and emission reduction goals. Due to the specific scheduling characteristics of logistics operations, the energy dispatch within ILPs must be coordinated with the scheduling of electric logistics fleets. This study proposes a coordinated optimization framework that integrates logistics scheduling and energy dispatch to minimize the total cost of logistics operations and energy consumption. In terms of logistics, a hybrid charging strategy of partial recharging during working hours and full replenishment during the non-working hours is adopted to improve the ELVs operational efficiency. In terms of the energy, the framework jointly considers photovoltaic (PV) generation, ESS, the charging demand of ELVs and the other loads within the ILP. Specially proposed a charging strategy that combines ELVs variable charging scheduling with logistics, in order to minimize energy costs to the greatest extent possible. Furthermore, battery degradation of the ESS is explicitly modeled to ensure realistic and effective energy scheduling. A case study based on the logistics layout of a large-scale urban area is conducted and numerically solved using specific mathematical methods. The results demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed coordinated framework in reducing both logistics and energy costs.
