Globalization, political orientation and wage inequality: From Donald Trump’s election to Angela Merkel’s re-election

Abstract

This article explores the relationship between globalization, political orientation, and wage inequality. It uses recent political events to illustrate shifts in economic policy and labor market outcomes.
