Selected Remarks on Frankfurter Allgemeine Zeitung Economists’ Ranking 2018

Abstract

On 1 September 2018 the German daily Frankfurter Allgemeine Zeitung newspaper published the latest Economists Ranking. This article makes several observations on methodology and interpretation, as well as discussing critical points. It concludes by drawing a comparison between the Economists Ranking and the RePEc website.
