A Meta-Ranking of Economics Publications

Abstract

Rankings of scientific publications play an important role both in terms of the prestige of publications and the reputations of those authors who publish in them. This article presents a meta-ranking of 277 economic publications. It is based on 22 individual rankings drawing on data from four different bibliometric databases.
