Kurz zum Klima: Gaining Steam – der Stand der Klimapolitik in den USA

Abstract

Im Juni 2013 hat die Regierung von US-Präsident Barack Obama mit dem sogenannten »Climate Action Plan«, einen neuen Versuch gestartet, die Treibhausgasemissionen vor allem im Transport- und Elektrizitätssektor in den nächsten Jahren zu reduzieren. Vor diesem Hintergrund gibt der Artikel einen Überblick über die klimapolitischen Initiativen in den USA in den letzten zehn Jahren und diskutiert den Vorschlag im Hinblick auf Inhalt, Auswirkungen und Erfolgsaussichten.
