Abstract

W artykule, w nawiązaniu do dwóch ostatnich książek Grzegorza W. Kołodko: Świat w matni. Czwarta część trylogii oraz stanowiącej swego rodzaju pendant do tej publikacji Wojny i pokoju, zawarto uwagi autora niniejszego opracowania nawiązujące do wizji „świata w matni” w szczególności w kontekście wojny w Ukrainie. Obecny konflikt zbrojny, niestety, oznacza utratę możliwości urzeczywistnienia się w Europie, w jej prawie pełnym geograficznym wymiarze, swego rodzaju nowej belle époque, której znamiona, w pewnej mierze, pomimo napięć i zdarzeń kryzysowych, które miały miejsce, a ich źródła czy początki były poza Europą, miał czas zapoczątkowany upadkiem porządku jałtańskiego.
