Abstract

This paper propose a general overview of the concept of happiness in an economics context. Many economists draw attention to the role that money can play to increase the level of happiness. We have identified two perspectives in the literature: one according to which there is no linear relationship between income and happiness, and another saying that sometimes money can buy happiness.
