Abstract

Dairy production and its evolution under quota are approached here spatialy. The heterogeneity of production is tested with the ressource to production functions, implements of the micro-economic analysis, estimated at a regional level. The empiric analysis is realized on a sample drawn from the RICA, with the assistance of elementary statistic and econometric methods. The factors of differentiation of this production between regions and inside each region, are specified for 1984 and 1988. The comparison of these results allows to draw lessons on evolution of production systems, by region.
