Glossar Verkehrswesen und Verkehrswissenschaften: Definitionen und Erläuterungen zu Begriffen des Transport- und Nachrichtenwesens

Abstract

Das vorliegende Glossar mit Begriffen des Verkehrswesens und insbes. der Verkehrswissenschaften entstand im Zusammenhang mit der Gestaltung der Lehrveranstaltungen "Einführung in die Verkehrsgeschichte" sowie "Einführung in die Verkehrswirtschaft" an der Technischen Universität Dresden. Es handelt sich um eine Zusammenstellung von Definitionen, die von den Herausgebern stammen oder anderen gekennzeichneten Quellen entnommen wurden. [...] Neben der Nutzung als Nachschlagewerk soll das vorliegende Glossar als Lehrmaterial einen Einstieg für Studierende und Quereinsteiger in die Begriffswelt des Verkehrswesens und der Verkehrswissenschaften bieten und den Nutzer für eine bewusste Verwendung von Grundbegriffen der Fachsprache sensibilisieren. Deshalb werden einige Schlüsselbegriffe nicht nur definiert, sondern ausführlich erläutert. Und auf mögliche Doppelgänger, Synonyme und Verwechslungen wird ausdrücklich hingewiesen.
