Derecho y Economía en entornos digitales: ventajas del uso de Zoom en el Juego del Bien Público durante sesiones sincrónicas

Abstract

A partir de la pandemia de Covid-19 y la generalización de las clases en línea, uno de los retos más importantes en la enseñanza jurídica fue trasladar la experiencia de las actividades presenciales al entorno digital. Esto es un desafío especialmente en la materia de Derecho y Economía, la cual utiliza prácticas de aprendizaje basadas en teorías de juegos y simulaciones, donde los participantes interactúan entre sí para alcanzar ciertos objetivos. Una de las actividades que sirve para analizar las dificultades de alcanzar acuerdos y mantenerlos es el “juego del bien público”, ya que muestra a los participantes los costos de transacción que pueden complicar la celebración de contratos (Coase 1992). En el juego, los estudiantes perciben las dificultades de contribuir a un bien público mediante la negociación y celebración de acuerdos de manera presencial. Por ello, la actividad se torna compleja al implementarse en una clase en línea. No obstante, utilizando algunas ventajas de la plataforma Zoom, fue posible mejorar de manera novedosa algunos aspectos del juego del bien público, como lograr un desarrollo paralelo de varias sesiones de la actividad y una comunicación eficiente de los resultados durante la misma sesión. El presente artículo expone como el uso de la tecnología facilitó el aprendizaje sobre las dificultades de alcanzar acuerdos y de su cumplimiento.
