Abstract

For the past decade, retailers and producers worldwide have been implementing new management techniques such as ECR and category management (CM) in order to reduce costs and increase consumer value. Our paper presents the first step of a research on compared analysis of category management implementation in France and Canada. There is, according to us, no analysis compared on these two continents. Our objective is to explore the similarities and differences in both cases, through category manager words.
