La "stratégie en pratiques" comme cadre d'analyse des outils de gestion ?

Abstract

La structuration d'un nouveau courant de recherche dans le domaine de la stratégie est un phénomène d'importance, dont les propositions gagnent selon nous à être examinées au regard d'approches théoriques antérieures. Par conséquent, cette communication vise à rapprocher l'école de la stratégie en pratiques de la perspective instrumentale d'analyse des outils de gestion. Plus précisément, nous proposons d'assimiler un outil de gestion singulier à une pratique sociale, dans le but d'appréhender la stratégie d'une organisation. En ce sens, l'analyse qualitative du contrat d'établissement d'une université pluridisciplinaire de taille moyenne permet de caractériser une part significative de ses pratiques stratégiques. Les apports du courant de la stratégie en pratiques à l'étude des outils de gestion sont finalement discutés.
