Les styles de leadership permettent-ils d'expliquer les pratiques RSE de l'entreprise ?

Abstract

L'étude de l'impact du style de leadership sur la pratique de la RSE a fait l'objet d'un regain d'intérêt dans la littérature (Strand,2013a). Cela se justifie par l'importance des leaders dans la mise en place d'une démarche RSE dans un environnement complexe (Maak et Pless, 2006). L'objet de ce travail de recherche est de s'interroger sur l'impact de six styles de leadership sur les pratiques RSE. Pour ce faire, nous avons conduit une enquête auprès de 50 entreprises tunisiennes certifiées ISO 14001. Les résultats de notre recherche supportent l'effet positif des styles de leadership axés sur la relation sur les pratiques RSE. Toutefois, les styles de leadership axés sur l'exécution impactent négativement les pratiques RSE. Ces résultats ont donc mis en valeur une typologie de styles de leadership qui constituent un terrain favorable à l'exercice de la RSE.
