This document was prepared by the consultant, Michiko Iizuka, under the project 'Enhancement of Citizen's Awareness in Formulation of Pollution Control Policies in Major Latin American Cities', which is being carried out by the Environment and Human Settlements Division of ECLAC, with the support from the Government of Japan.
