Desarrollo de la agricultura colombiana

Abstract

El presente estudio, financiado con recursos del premio Germán Botero de los Ríos de Fedesarrollo, tiene como objetivo presentar a consideración de los candidatos a la Presidencia de la República un documento técnico sobre el marco general de la política agrícola y rural que debe implementarse en Colombia a partir del próximo cuatrienio. Este estudio contiene una descripción sintética de la situación del sector, los retos que enfrentan el crecimiento y el desarrollo de la agricultura colombiana, y las recomendaciones de política que deben adelantarse para dinamizar el sector y cerrar las brechas que se presentan con los sectores urbanos. Para ello, el estudio se centra en aquellos temas de política pública más prioritarios: política comercial, investigación agrícola, gasto público en la agricultura, política social rural, la problemática de la tierra, y el marco institucional agropecuario y rural.
