Chinese commercial banks experience in asset diversification

Abstract

Diversification is an important strategy for banks to remain competitive. Recent studies show that relative capitalis considered an important determinant of bank competitiveness. The purpose of this study is to examine the impact ofdiversity and relational capital on the performance of Chinese commercial banks.
