Abstract

[fre] Contemporary Theories of International Direct Investment. . Les théories de l'investissement direct international et de l'entreprise multinationale fondées sur l'approche de l'internalisation combinent les hypothèses jumelles de croissance par internalisation de marchés externes et de localisation au moindre coût des activités internes à l'entreprise. Cette approche est complé­mentaire et non contradictoire à la vision de Hymer des multinationales comme oligopoleuses exploitants des marchés concentrés. Elle rend compte des stratégies d'offre sur les exploitants des marchés concentrés. Elle rend compte des stratégies d'offre sur les marchés étrangers (le choix entre l'exportation, l'octroi d'une licence et l'investissement direct). L'article suggère des directions de recherche pour développer plus avant ces théories.
