Szennyezéscsökkentő innováció elterjedésének jóléti hatásai
[The welfare effects of the spread of pollution-reducing innovation]

Abstract

A szerző a hagyományos és a szennyezéscsökkentő innovációk elterjedésének jóléti hatásait hasonlítja össze. Ehhez egy szennyező és egy nem szennyező iparágat vizsgál Cournot-versenyt játszó duopóliumokkal. A szennyezést adó szabályozza. A szerző megmutatja, milyen feltételek mellett teljesül, hogy az innováció elterjedése a társadalom számára kedvezőbb legyen a szennyező, mint a hagyományos esetben. Ez az eset nyilván következményekkel jár a társadalmi szabályozó magatartására nézve is.
