Vállalati reakciók a gazdasági válságra, 2008-2009

Abstract

A tanulmány azt vizsgálja, hogy a válság első évében a magyar vállalatok milyen mértékben nyúltak a tömeges elbocsátások mellett vagy helyett olyan puhább módszerekhez, mint amilyen a munkaidő rövidítése vagy a bérek csökkentése. A 2008 és 2009 májusára vonatkozó vállalati és egyéni paneladatok szerint a béreloszlás - a minimálbérek emelésének hatását leszámítva - alig változott, a munkaidő-csökkentések pedig valószínűleg nem terjedtek túl a munkahelymegtartó támogatásokkal megsegített vállalati körön. A versenyszférában az alkalmazkodás terhét alapvetően a foglalkoztatás viselte - az ebben meglévő vállalatközi különbségeket a tanulmány a munkaerő-összetétel változásait is figyelembe véve vizsgálja. Az extenzív alkalmazkodás túlsúlya összefügghet a puha megoldásokat ösztönző intézmények hiányával, a minimálbér-szabályozással, valamint azzal, hogy számos vállalat a munkaerő-felvétel visszafogásával is csökkenteni tudta a létszámát.
