Abstract

"For years a remarkable upswing of the labour market has been taking place in Germany. It is often related to the extensive labour market reforms of the years 2002 to 2005. Scientific evidence also indicates that the labour market reform package has improved the local employment situation. The international comparison also provides an indication for positive labour market effects of special reform measures." (Author's abstract, IAB-Doku) ((en))
