Modelo de equilibrio general aplicado para México y análisis de impuestos a la extracción de hidrocarburos

Abstract

Para una matriz de contabilidad social (MCS) de 2003, se presenta un modelo de equilibrio general aplicado parsimonioso, utilizable para analizar diversas problemáticas. Se emplea aquí para analizar los efectos de sustituir los altos impuestos del sector de la minería -que se presentan a causa de la excesiva carga sobre la paraestatal Petróleos Mexicanos (Pemex)- por un incremento en el impuesto sobre la renta. Incluimos la MCS que constituye un valioso resultado por sí misma, utilizable para aplicar una amplia gama de métodos de análisis para la economía mexicana. En el análisis de la simulación que elimina el exceso impositivo sobre la extracción de hidrocarburos, se muestra la magnitud y dirección de cambios para variables seleccionadas.
