Abstract

El presente trabajo se realizó con un doble objetivo: determinar los sectores productivos que son vulnerables ante posibles limitaciones en la disponibilidad de agua subterránea; y a partir de esto, estimar un precio sombra que refleje la importancia del recurso en el sistema económico regional. Para lograr tal fin, con base en la matriz insumo producto (MIP) estatal 2003, se estiman multiplicadores de valor agregado y agua, se obtienen índices de valor agregado-agua y precios sombra del agua. Los resultados indican que el sector agricultura, ganadería, alimentos, productos eléctricos y de generación eléctrica son vulnerables; el comercio y los servicios son los menos vulnerables. En relación al precio sombra, se obtiene un valor de $4.00 a $14.96 pesos por m3 para uso general, y de $28.00 a $104.71 para uso industrial-comercial
