Abstract

This paper studies the impact of the establishment of intellectual property courts on the development of multinational financial supply chains, based on data from Chinese A-share listed companies and regional data from 2012 to 2023. It explores the mechanisms of influence and regional differences. The research finds that the establishment of intellectual property courts significantly promotes the development of multinational financial supply chains; there are notable differences in the influence of court establishment on multinational financial supply chains across regions with varying levels of economic development; intellectual property courts indirectly promote the development of multinational financial supply chains by enhancing the incentive effects for corporate innovation; and within regions of different economic development levels, there are differences in the mediating role of corporate innovation incentive effects between the establishment of intellectual property courts and the development of multinational financial supply chains.
