Green management innovation, supply chain finance capabilities, and corporate green innovation performance

Abstract

This study empirically investigates the synergistic effects of green management innovation and supply chain finance on corporate green innovation performance, using panel data from Chinese A-share listed companies from 2009 to 2023. Regression analysis shows that green management innovation has a significant positive impact on green innovation performance, and supply chain finance is also positively correlated. In addition, green management innovation acts as a key mediating factor in the influence of supply chain finance on green innovation performance. This effect shows significant heterogeneity by ownership, being much stronger for private enterprises (PEs) than for state-owned enterprises (SOEs).
