Senior-level party building reinforcement, financial deepening, and supply chain resilience of listed companies

Abstract

This paper focuses on Chinese listed companies and employs benchmark regression analysis, endogeneity tests, moderating effect tests, and heterogeneity analyses to thoroughly examine the complex relationship among senior-level Party building reinforcement, financial deepening, and the supply chain resilience of listed companies. The findings indicate that senior-level Party building reinforcement significantly enhances the supply chain resilience of listed companies. In contrast, financial deepening exhibits a notable inhibitory effect on supply chain resilience. Moreover, senior-level Party building reinforcement plays a significant moderating role in the relationship between financial deepening and supply chain resilience, with this moderating effect demonstrating significant heterogeneity between companies with high and low proportions of senior management shareholding. This study provides new perspectives and empirical evidence for understanding the mechanisms by which enterprises enhance supply chain resilience within the context of Party building and financial deepening.
