The new driving force for improving tourism resource allocation efficiency: The mechanism of digital finance

Abstract

This article explores the impact of digital finance on the efficiency of tourism resource allocation in China and its underlying mechanisms. The research indicates that the development of digital finance significantly enhances the efficiency of tourism resource allocation, and this effect is robust. Further analysis reveals that tourism consumption demand plays a partial mediating role in the process by which digital finance influences the efficiency of tourism resource allocation. Additionally, the impact of digital finance on tourism resource allocation efficiency varies regionally, with the most pronounced effect observed in the eastern region.
