El papel de las ONG en la formulación de políticas en transporte público en la ciudad de México: El caso del centro Mario Molina y el centro de Trans

Abstract

ResumenEste estudio de corte reflexivo plantea como objetivo describir el papel que desempenan dos Organizaciones No Gubernamentales en la formulación de políticas en materia de transporte público en la ciudad de México: el caso del Centro Mario Molina y el caso del Centro de Transporte Sustentable. A partir de la revisión documental se establecieron cinco categorías de análisis para los Centros mencionados, siendo estas: la estructura organizacional, la esfera de relaciones estratégicas, las funciones en los procesos de la política pública, las fuentes de legitimidad, y el nivel de impacto potencial en la política pública. Los principales hallazgos del estudio revelan que el papel de los Centros es palpable a través de estudios e investigaciones especializadas que realizan de manera colaborativa con instancias gubernamentales, los cuales se materializan en programas de gobierno y políticas en materia ambiental, como lo es la calidad del aire.
