Online-Handel – Chance für den stationären Einzelhandel?

Abstract

Im August und Oktober 2016 stellte das ifo Institut den am ifo Konjunkturtest teilnehmenden Einzelhändlern einige Sonderfragen zum Online-Handel. Gefragt wurde u.a., wie die teilnehmenden Händler den Einfluss des Online-Handels auf ihr Geschäft einschätzen. Viele Händler klagen über einen Rückgang der Besucherfrequenzen vor Ort und über eine Konkurrenzintensität durch das Warenangebot im Internet. So beurteilt die Hälfte der befragten Einzelhändler den Online-Handel als für sich geschäftsmindernd.
